Cesar Chavez School for Public Policy prepares scholars to succeed in competitive colleges and empowers scholars to use public policy to create a more just, free, and equal world. Step 1:
Create an account and apply at MySchoolDC.
Step 2:
Match with Cesar Chavez PCS during the lottery opening period or be accepted during the post lottery period.
Step 3:
Complete and submit Chavez's Infosnap form (families will receive an email containing your student's snapcode).
Step 4:
Submit your DC Residency Form and supporting documents. DC Residency can be completed online via DocuSign and documents for proof of residency can be emailed to [email protected].

Step 5:
Submit DC proof of residency and other supporting documentation by the prescribed deadline.
All New Students:
- Student Birth Certificate (proof of age)
- Academic Records from Current School
- Universal Health Certificate (English)
- Universal Health Certificate (Spanish)
- Oral Health Assessment Form
If Applicable:
- Current Individualized Education Plan (IEP)/504 Plan
- Home Visit Form (English)
- Home Visit Form (Spanish)
Step 6:
Complete enrollment by attending in-person classes after summer break.
Returning Scholar Enrollment Process
Step 1:

A quick glance at the enrollment timeline for the 2025-2026 school year:
- February 1, 2025: Deadline for 9-12th grade applicants
- March 1, 2025: Deadline for PK3–8th grade applicants
- March 31, 2025: Lottery results and waitlist positions released and registration begins
- May 2, 2025: Registration deadline
