Become A Chavez Scholar

We are excited to have you join the Chavez Community!

Step 1:
Submit an online Chavez Registration Form through InfoSnap (families will receive an email containing your student's snapcode).
Step 2:
Submit your DC Residency Form and supporting documents. DC Residency can be completed online via DocuSign and documents for proof of residency can be emailed to enrollment@chavezschools.org
Step 3:
Submit additional required documentation.
 
All Students:

New to Chavez:
  • Proof of child's age: Student Birth Certificate
  • Academic Records from current school
  • Current Individualized Education Plan (IEP)/504 Plan (if applicable)

Enrollment Support is available by phone daily from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and in person from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. On Thursdays, we have extended office hours until 6:00 pm.

A quick glance at the enrollment timeline for the 2021-2022 school year:

  • February 1, 2021: Deadline for 9-12th grade applicants.
  • March 1, 2021: Deadline for PK3–8th grade applicants.
  • April 2, 2021: Lottery results and waitlist positions released. Registration Begins
  • May 3, 2021: Registration Deadline
