On Thursday, May 28th, Chavez Schools hosted its annual Symposium--and it did not disappoint. The evening was a vibrant showcase of everything our scholars are capable of, drawing guests into a night filled with intellectual energy and community pride. Attendees experienced powerful presentations from our top Senior Thesis scholars, explored a gallery of stunning artwork, got an exclusive preview of a video from the Junior Mission Trip, and toured engaging club showcases highlighting the breadth of student talent and passion at Chavez.
The evening also featured a timely and thought-provoking community conversation on the future of Ranked Choice Voting in DC--a fitting reminder that our scholars are not just learners, they are thinkers and engaged members of their community.
A heartfelt thank you to our sponsor, Bill of Writes Storytellers (BOWS), whose generous support helped make the evening possible. Nights like these are a testament to what our scholars, staff, and community can accomplish together.
