Career and Technical Education

In Biomedical Sciences scholars collaborate and use teamwork to further understand human body systems. Scholars are engaged in laboratory and medical professional skills.

Scholars at Chavez are able to prepare for in-demand careers while earning high school and college course credit at no cost by taking certification courses with Advanced Technical Center (ATC) .  Program pathways include Cybersecurity and Emergency Medical Technician. Participating scholars have access to industry grade tools and equipment and spend a portion of their school day at ATC.
