If my child attended previously and wants to reenroll, will he/she be given preference?
We are not allowed to give preference to any child, with the exception of siblings of either current students or siblings who apply at the same time (if one gets in, we also admit the other). A previous student wishing to return after leaving Chavez is treated the same as any new student wishing to enroll and must go through the new student application process. That said, we cannot screen your child based on their previous experience at Chavez and your child will be given the same open access to Chavez as any new enrollee, as long as your child meets the criteria discussed in #1 above.
